I am pleased to invite you to attend the first Rock’em Out Da Box! “Keeping it Real Youth Conference” & Music Concert. This event is designed to not only educate our youth but to allow them to express their gifts and talents.

One of our keynote speakers is Evangelist Lawrence Hubb from Temple of Praise right here from the DMV. We have a great group of speakers to come in and teach about the following topics, Self Esteem and the effects of Peer Pressure, Abstinence, Cyber Bullying, Sexting, the Importance of Education/Staying in School, Living a Healthy Lifestyle, Looking Into the Minds of a Depressed Teenager, and more.

This conference is scheduled for Saturday, August 27^th, 2011, at First Rising Mt. Zion Baptist Church 602 N Street, NW, Washington, DC from 7:30 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. breakfast, and lunch will be provided. Then come and join us for our Gospel Explosion featuring christian comedian James Lawson and all the way from Chicago, IL Karness Turner droping knowledge with spoken word! What a great way to end the day! Our Gospel Explosion will promptly begin at 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.

Conference Only: $20

Gospel Explosion Only: $15
